I’m not sure if I can explain how I felt when reading your novel Story Bound, but I shall try. When reading I felt the words come off the page and the characters, scenes, emotions, and surroundings appeared before my very eyes. I enjoyed the humor, the action, and mystery. This was the first book to where I could not even imagine what would happen next. My curiosity first started out with the name Una Fairchild. It sounded like one of those randomized names you get on role playing websites. And I will never forget it. I can’t wait to see Story’s End in the school library. Please keep writing more and more stories. Being 13 I need the fantasy escape.
But, there were two things that I was wondering:
One was that Peter had been described as a brunet and a boy that wore fantasy clothing, like tunics. Since I’m just assuming that the boy on the cover was Peter…why was he wearing modern clothing and looked like he was blonde? Oh, and also where did you get the nickname Indy from Endeavor?

You raise a good question, and I can tell we might be kindred spirits because I wondered the same thing about the cover when my editor first showed it to me. I have a pet peeve about covers not matching their descriptions in the story, but ultimately the decision is up to the publisher and they thought having Peter in “Modern” clothes might be more appealing. So,yes, you’re right, he should be wearing a tunic and a sword….didn’t the artist do a fabulous job, though? I love Brandon Dorman’s work and couldn’t be happier with both covers.
As to your second question, I’ve always loved the name Endeavour but knew that someone with that cumbersome of a name would have a nickname, and Indy seemed to fit. 🙂

I just want to tell you your now my favorite author of all times! I have read both your books and I have fallen in love with both of them but I have to say story’s end is the best in my opinion. It was just so epic and awesome! Your an amazing author. A few days ago I stayed up over an hour finishing story’s end cause I just had to see what happened after that one chapter (which I can’t remember which one and I won’t say what happened cause I don’t want to spoil it if someone hasn’t read it yet) but I also sat there just thinking how can this girl come up with this amazing story line! It really amazed me please keep writing and I can’t wait for more of your wonderful books!

I just finished Storybound today. I love Alethia and her world! This was a really good book that made my mouth gape in a few places. I think I can guess who Alethia’s servant was (can’t wait to read the next book!) 😉 As a 16-year-old writer and a lover of books, this was the first book in a while that made me not want to put it down because of suspense.
